From the years of 1998 to 1999, Brande Roderick appeared in four erotic and sexy films. In 2000, Roderick starred as "Leigh Dyer" in the television show Baywatch. In April 2000, Brande appeared in Playboy magazine as the nude Playmate of the Month. Brande was chosen by Hugh Hefner as one of Hef's girlfriends. In 2001, Brande became the Playmate of the Year for 2001, the first Baywatch cast member to be so honored.
In 2003, Brande starred in Out of Contro, the Bollywood movie as the American wife of an native Indian man who, on a return visit to India, gets extreme pressure by his family into marrying an Indian girl. Brande's role had been originally intended for Pamela Anderson.
