Christina was one of three finalists of the live broadcast Fox TV special Who Wants to Be a Playboy Centerfold? and was selected as Playboy's nude Playmate of the Month in August, 2002. Christina then was selected the Playmate of the Year (PMOY) in 2003. Christina's PMOY issue in June 2003 was the first Playboy to not feature the PMOY on the cover.
Christina appeared in the 2005 Playmates at Play calendar shot at the Playboy Mansion and was the calendar girl of August. The calendar was Playboy's first and somewhat successful attempt at creating a non-nude swimsuit calendar featuring Playboy Playmates similar in style with those calenders from Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue.
