Early life and career
Goulart was born on São Carlos, São Paulo, Brazil in on October 23, 1984. Izabel is one of seven children and is of Italian descent.
While shopping for groceries with her mother in Brazil, a hairstylist suggested to Izabel that she should become a model. Izabel moved to the state's capital of São Paulo and began modeling.
Modeling career
Izabel experienced a wardrobe malfunction, during her first ever fashion show appearance. The accidental incident made many big Brazilian newspapers and remains Izabel's most embarrassing moment. Izabel was able to put her turbulent start well behind her and returned to grace the runway to model collections for high end designers such as Jill Sander, Bill Blass, Michael Kors, Stella McCartney, and Ralph Lauren among many others.
Izabel also appeared in the 2005 and 2006 high fashion Victoria's Secret Fashion Show. Izabel has also posed for photos with premier photographers such as David Sims, Terry Richardson, Greg Kadel and Vincent Peters for numerous publications as Japanese and French Vogue, French magazine and Numero magazine.
Notable Appearances
* During a guest appearance on Late Night with Conan O' Brien in May 2006, O'Brien stated, "What kind of guy do you look for?", Goulart simply replied "You."
* Izabel re-appeared on Late Night with Conan O' Brien again February 28, 2007. O'Brien asked to dance with Izabel and to dine out after the show. Goulart replied "In Brazil we have a saying - You're married, but you're not dead."
* Izabel Goulart guest appeared in an episode of Two And A Half Men featured on this website.
