Tailor began modeling at the age of 17, doing catalog work and calendars. Her initial nudes were shot with Mystique Magazine in Alaska. Later, a photographer friend of Tailor's suggested she pose for Playboy magazine, and submitted Tailor's photos to the publication. Playboy then invited her to come in and shoot test shots. After the test shots, Tailor was approved to be a Playboy Playmate, however there were several other blondes in front of her and they pushed her centerfold appearance back. Before Playboy, Tailor appeared in the June 2003 issue. Taylor was also selected Cyber Girl of the Week in September 2001 and Cyber Girl of the Month in January 2002.
Along with fellow Playmates Jamie Westenhiser and Raquel Gibson and, Tailor is a "member" of the U.S. National Bikini Team.
