Yamila Díaz-Rahi is an Argentine supermodel. Yamila was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina on March 9, 1976. She is of Lebanese and Spanish descent. She goes by the name Yamila Diaz. Yamila's father was a doctor and her mother was a respected health care manager. Yamila was first discovered in Buenos Aires in 1996, while studying economics at the age of 20.
After working high fasion in Milan for a few years, in 1999, Yamila was featured in the highly coveted Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, and made the cover of SI in 2002. Yamila also appeared on the cover of numerous magazines such as Glamour, GQ, Maxim, Shape, Elle, and many more.
Yamila has also appeared in the illustrious Victoria's Secret catalog and print ads for Swish jeans, bebe and many more. Yamila was the first Latina spokesmodel in the history of Cover girl. Yamila has also appeared in the 1999 Italian film Pesce innamorato, Il with a lead role.
